Back To School

The designers at Stylin’ Stampin’ INKSpiration are featuring Back to School cards on our blogs today.  You can check out the other designers’ amazing creations HERE. 

My daughter has been in school for 2+ weeks already.  If you missed my Back-to-School scrapbook layout, you can view it HERE.  Since, I’ve been sharing Holiday catalog sneak peeks, I was able to squeeze one into today’s project.

The patterned paper on today’s card is from a new 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper stack called Warmth and Cheer.  The plaid patterns and stars remind me of school starting, so I paired the paper with the Places You’ll go stamp set. 

To give the globe an “earthy” feel, I stamped the lines with Wild Wasabi (stamped off), then the splatter from Gorgeous Grunge in Pool Party (stamped off).  The sentiment and heart are also from the Places You’ll Go stamp set.

It’s going to be a busy weekend on the blog…..the Control Freaks are hopping tonight and I’ll be hopping again with the Monday Montage girls on Sunday night.  Stay tuned for even more fabulous holiday projects!
