  March-SSINKCC19

I was so excited to see 2 of my favorite colors in this combination…….and then I saw the Perfect Plum.  Seriously, I NEVER use that color.  My ink pad was dry and I didn't have any card stock in Perfect Plum.  What's a girl to do?

Watercolor, of course!

I started by die-cutting the butterfly from the front of a Whisper White card base.  Then, I watercolored the butterfly using the colors from the challenge ~ Perfect Plum, Strawberry Slush, and Baked Brown Sugar.  Once it was dry, the butterfly was adhered to the inside panel of the card.  I placed a window sheet behind the front panel, then die-cut a smaller butterfly from Baked Brown Sugar card stock and adhered it to the front of the window sheet.

The Strawberry Slush Baker's Twine and the greeting from the Painted Petals stamp set finish the card.  There really is a lot of depth and dimension.  What do you think?

  1. I wasn’t so sure about these colors together but you made me love them! SERIOUSLY…love this card! P.S. I will probably have that sentiment forever! It’s my favorite!
