We’ve got a fantastic color challenge on the TGIF Challenges Blog today using Bermuda Bay, Peekaboo Peach, and Basic Black. It’s such a fun combination! We would love to have you play along with us. I combined the color challenge with the Mojo Monday Sketch to create this cute birthday card. The full card measures 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″. When I mail this size of a card, I simply add a piece of Whisper White card stock measuring 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ to my standard envelope. Unless there is a lot of bulk, this will save you on postage.
I created my own background paper by 2-step stamping the floral images from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set in Peekaboo Peach and Bermuda Bay inks. For the first image, I stamped off. Then the detailed image, I stamped at full strength. The greeting was stamped in Basic Black archival ink, then die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. You’ll also see a new ribbon: the 3/8″ mini chevron ribbon in Bermuda Bay. I love the casual feel of it!
Now that the Annual Catalog is LIVE, I’ll be adding recipes for each card at the end of my posts. There are certainly a lot of new items in this catalog, but I highly recommend the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set. It is definitely one of my favorites!
