This Little Piggy……can fly!

My first real order from the Annual Catalog arrived this week and I could not wait to use the This Little Piggy stamp set.  These pigs are just so darn cute!  I also had to use the new Embossing Paste with the Pattern Party Decorative Masks.  You’re going to love the effects you can create with these fun tools!

It’s Sketch Challenge week at TGIF Challenges.  We’ve got a great sketch and we’d love for you to play along with us.  You can link up your creations with this sketch over the next week.

I stamped the pig image onto Powder Pink card stock and Whisper White card stock.  The wings were cut from the Whisper White card stock, then adhered to the Powder Pink pig.  Using a blender pen and the Basic Gray Watercolor Pencil, I added a bit of shading to the white wings and the pig’s hooves.  I used the Blender Pen with ink from the Powder Pink stamp pad to add highlights to the body of the pig.  A tiny bit of Clear Wink of Stella was added to the wings.

The greeting was stamped in Versamark ink, then sprinkled with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heated with the heat tool.  To create the “fluffy” clouds, I used the Embossing Paste along with the Pattern Party Decorative Masks and a Palette Knife.  I’ll try to shoot a video next week to demonstrate this interesting technique.  I think you are going to love it!

The final touch is a Powder Pink Bitty Bow.  These bows are perfectly tied and so soft…..a perfect accent for this card.

Have a fabulous weekend and thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!
