Welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  We are a few members short this week due to the Father’s Day holiday, but I know that you’ll find many fabulous projects to inspire you.  Be sure to follow along on the hop by clicking the buttons at the end of this post.

A Little Wild #FMS292

I’m slowly starting to use more of my products from the new catalog.  For today’s card, I used the sketch below from Freshly Made Sketches and paired it with the A Little Wild stamp set and Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.

FMS292

The paper in the Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper is heavyweight and features a gold foil design on one side and a pink/vanilla (or blue/vanilla) pattern on the opposite side.  It is stunning, to say the least!  I cut my larger circles with the Big Shot and the Layering Circles Framelits Dies.  The smaller circle was cut from the Thick Very Vanilla card stock with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

I stamped the little elephant image in Basic Gray Archival ink onto Blushing Bride card stock, then die cut it with the coordinating die.  Some additional shading was adding with the Watercolor Pencils (mainly Basic Gray, Melon Mambo, and Whisper White) along with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.  A few Blushing Bride enamel shapes were added as a final touch.

This was such an easy card to create and could easily be done with the Soft Sky paper to make a baby boy card.  I can’t wait to play around with this combo some more!

I’ll be linking to 2 different people this week, so be sure to check them out!
