I’ve been having so much fun with all the new stuff from the Annual Catalog! One of my favorite suites is the Playful Pets Suite on pages 40-42. I thought it would be perfect for creating a card in a box. Once I had all of my dogs & cats die cut, I was ready to make some sweet cards.
I’ve done this style of card before but they’ve always been larger. I wanted one that would easily fit our Medium Envelopes and could be mailed. This one works perfectly! Be sure to watch the video tutorial below and then give it a try. I’ve got all of the measurements listed for you, too.
Measurements
- Real Red Card Stock for main box: 4-1/4″ x 12″, scored at 2-3/4″, 5-1/2″, 8-1/4″, and 11″
- Real Red Card Stock for inside strips (2): 1″ x 4-3/4″, scored at 1″ from each end
- Basic Black Card Stock for bottom box (3): 2″ x 2-1/2″
- Designer Series Paper for bottom box (3): 1-3/4″ x 2-1/4″
- Basic Black Card Stock for top flaps (6): 1-3/4″ x 2-1/2″
- Designer Series Paper for top flaps (6): 1-1/2″ x 2-1/4″
- Basic Black & Whisper White Card Stock for front & back: 2-1/2″ x 4″
- Designer Series Paper for front layer: 2-1/4″ x 3-3/4″
