I’m starting to get really excited about the launch of the 2017-2018 Stampin’ UP! Annual Catalog on June 1st!   I just know you are going to love many of the new products, including the Pick a Pattern Suite that I’m sharing today.  I’ve already created 2 other cards with this suite and you can see them HERE and HERE.  Nonetheless, I think today’s card is my favorite by far. Do you see the little bear peeking out from behind the greeting?  Isn’t he adorable?

This week’s sketch from Mojo Monday was perfect for featuring several of the fun and whimsical patterns in the Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper.  Even though there is a bear stamp in the Pieces & Patterns stamp set, I decided to cut the bear from the Designer Series Paper.  There are many cute images to choose from on the paper including a fox, moose, hedgehog, racoon, and bunny.  I also cut the mountains from the paper.

For the focal point, I stamped the greeting in Basic Black archival ink onto Whisper White cardstock.  Next, I used a Crushed Curry marker to color the shadow of the “wild” portion.   I die-cut the focal point with the Layering Circles Framelits Dies.  And finally,  I added some stamped dots and a little Flirty Flamingo heart enamel shape to the bottom of the focal point. As you can see in the close-up, there are many adorable patterns in the Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper.  You are definitely going to want to add it to your collection on June 1st!
