Santa’s Sleigh Meets Twinkle Trees

Today’s card has so much sweet, glittery goodness that I could hardly wait to share it with you!  This card has glimmer card stock, glitter ribbon, sequins, and another Bokeh background created with the Twinkle Trees stamp set.  The layout is from this week’s Mojo Monday sketch. 

I started by die-cutting the large circle from the top layer of Very Vanilla card stock with the Big Shot and Layering Circles Framelits Dies.  Next, I placed the open circle over the card base and began stamping the various circles from Twinkle Trees in Soft Sky, Sweet Sugarplum, and Soft Suede inks across both layers of card stock.  I found that twisting the stamp while it is on the paper created the blurry look that I wanted.  A wash of Clear Wink of Stella blurred the ink even more and gave the paper a beautiful shimmer. The greeting is from the Santa’s Sleigh stamp set and was stamped in Soft Suede ink below the open circle.

I then created the shaker component and added the Fancy Frost sequins.  After adhering the shaker to the card base, I tied Sweet Sugarplum 3/8″ Glitter Ribbon around the card.  And finally, I die cut a reindeer from the Santa’s Sleigh Thinlits dies and adhered it to the front of the card with dimensionals.
