We’ve got a bright and cheerful color challenge at TGIF Challenges this week.  Be sure to check out what the other designers created and play along with us here.  My first shipment of new catalog items arrived this week and I’m very excited to share with you a project featuring some amazing new products.  As I perused my new papers, the Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper jumped out at me.  I was happy to see that I could easily incorporate it into this week’s color challenge.

It has been Teacher Appreciation Week at our school.  Bella’s school is an integrative arts school, which means that during the school day, the children also learn dance, art, violin, and piano.  It’s really an awesome curriculum and my daughter has been so blessed this year with a wonderful teacher.  I’m not sure we could ever thank her enough for all that she has done for us.  When I saw the new Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper and the coordinating Pieces and Patterns stamp set, I knew it would be perfect for thank you cards.

These items will be available in the upcoming 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  I used one of the Pick a Pattern Designer Series Papers for the background, as well as a couple of accent strips.  A few pencils were stamped as a border along the edge of the inset piece of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped and embossed the greeting from the Pieces and Patterns stamp set and cut it out with the Layering Circles Framelits Dies.  The swirly Crushed Curry card stock was cut with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Die and the Big Shot.  I love using it as an accent piece.   The flower image is also from the Pieces and Patterns stamp set.  I added a few White Perfect Accents to the card and also to the center of the flower.
