This week, I’ll be sharing samples made with the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set. Today’s card is definitely one of my favorites! The layout was inspired by this retro sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch. I noticed that quite a few other people used this same stamp set for the sketch, so if you are looking for more ideas be sure to check them out.

I started with a strip of Whisper White card stock measuring 2″ x 4-1/4″ and began by sponging Pacific Point ink at the bottom. As I worked my way up, I added in some Pool Party ink until it was well blended. The Lily Pad images were stamped in Black Memento ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends before being die cut and added to the card.

For accent, I added a die cut border and a few Frosted Epoxy droplets. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark onto Black card stock, then sprinkled with White Emboss Powder and heated until melted. I fussy cut around the greeting and added it to the card with dimensionals.

I can’t say that I’ve fallen in love with this stamp set yet, but I do love this card. It turned out so bright and colorful! I hope you like it, too!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
