It’s Friday and time for a sketch challenge from the team at TGIF Challenges. My project for today showcases the beautiful Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper and the Country Home stamp set. I’ve been practicing my coloring with the Stampin’ Blends over the last month and really wanted to use this floral can image on a card.

You could easily recreate this sketch with any pattern papers that you have on hand. I’m sharing my measurements in case you’d like to give it a try!

  • Cajun Craze: 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″
  • Very Vanilla: 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Gilded Autumn DSP: 1-3/4″ x 4-3/4″, 1-3/4″ x 2-7/8″, and 1-3/4″ x 1-3/4″

For the focal point, I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Next, I colored with a variety of Stampin’ Blends. I wish I could tell you exactly which ones I used, but my process is a bit of a mess with my markers all over my desk. The gingham ribbon is from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

More ways to use Designer Series Paper & the Country Home stamp set

If you like today’s card, you’ll definitely want to check out my September Class Kit by Mail. It features 4 more card layouts with the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper. I also used the Country Home stamp set to embellish the cards in the kit.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
