I’m a little late sharing my Flowing Flowers creations for the TGIF Challenges Color Challenge, but better late than never, right? Actually, I’ve been in a bit of a creative funk for awhile. I’m sure it’s a combination of winter weather, grief, the holidays, and being completely overwhelmed at work and home. I was so very thankful to get 2 very rare snow days this week and I’m taking some extra time off next weekend. My husband has been fixing meals, my daughter has been doing the laundry, and my friends have rallied to get me stamping and laughing again.

Stamping has always been a big part of maintaining my mental health. I find it very cathartic to start with a blank canvas and end up with a work of art. The hardest part when I’m in a low spot is coming up with ideas. I hear from many of my customers that they struggle with new ideas as well. At these times, I’ll generally go to one of the catalogs and pick a project to CASE. (CASE=Copy and Share Everything) That is exactly what I did on today’s card. You’ll find the original card on page 36 of the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. I simply changed the colors to fit the color challenge and I love how it turned out!

I love creating video tutorials, too. However, I’ve not really been up for tutorials or live videos. Hopefully, that will come back to me but for now I’m good with quick Tik Tok videos. Give it a watch and let me know what you think.

You’ll see in the video that I used the Stampin’ Write markers. These markers have sadly been overlooked since the Blends came on scene. I honestly forgot how versatile they can be! These can be pricey but the quality is fantastic. I’ve had mine for over 5 years and they are still good as new. If you’d like to get them at a 50% discount, talk to me about hosting a workshop. You could also purchase them during Sale-a-Bration and get 2 FREE products or add them to a Demonstrator Starter Kit. There are many options for getting these markers at a great price.

Thanks so much for stopping by! You’ll find the complete list of supplies below.
