Today on Stylin' Stampin' INKSpiration, the designers are sharing masculine cards for all occasions. You can check them out here. I created this card for an Occasions Catalog card swap and it features the Happy Celebrations stamp set and Celebrations Duo Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
To create the base of this card, I scored a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Crumb Cake card stock at 2-3/4" and 5-1/2". When you fold back and forth along the score lines, you'll create the "z-fold". I placed a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock on the inside of the card and a 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Night of Navy card stock on the front panel. The focal point is a 3-1/4" x 4" piece of Early Espresso card stock with a piece of 3" x 3-3/4" Whisper White card stock layered onto it.
This stamp set and embossing folder duo is a little different from anything Stampin' UP! has carried in the past. The folder actually debosses the card stock, creating a letterpress-look. The stamps simply accentuate the debossed area.
I demonstrated this combination on another card at a recent downline meeting which is what you'll see in the video below. Warning…..this video is very raw = 1 take, other people were present, and my dog needed to get a few words in, too.
