Monday Montage 107

Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  I am so excited to be back after our extended holiday break.  There are tons of new products to share from the Occasions catalog. but I thought I would kick off the year with a few Valentine’s Day projects.  Today’s card features a layout from Freshly Made Sketches and more of the gorgeous Painted with Love suite of products.

I started by layering the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper onto a Whisper White card base.  A strip of paper featuring gold foil and a square of white vellum card stock complete the background of the card.

For the focal point, I die-cut 2 hearts from the Painted with Love Designer Series paper with the Big Shot and the Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies.  I stamped the Valentine greeting in Melon Mambo ink onto Whisper White card stock, then die-cut with the heart from the Lots to Love Box Framelits.  A small amount of mini gold tinsel trim was placed behind the hearts as an accent.
