Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  I spent the afternoon crafting with a few stamping friends in Illinois.  We shared samples and tried lots of different stamp sets and products.  It’s amazing how you can overlook a stamp set completely and then you see samples with it…….MUST PUT THIS ON MY NEXT ORDER!!!  The Sea of Texture bundle was like that for me.  I’ve seen so many amazing cards with this combo and I knew it would be perfect for cards and scrapbook layouts.

Since Stampin’ Up! is having a Buy 3, Get 1 FREE sale on select Designer Series Paper, I decided to use the Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper for my stamped and die-cut images on this card.  Because the images were lightweight, they were also very easy to layer into a collage.  I did add a bit of Shimmer White Embossing Paste to ta few of the die-cuts to create more texture.

I used the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the Big Shot to create the waves on the Whisper White background  layer.  A few adhesive-backed sequins add more shimmer.  You can really see the bits of Shimmery White embossing paste in the close-up photo.
