Hi everyone and welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! I actually chose to create 2 cards using the same layout, but mixing up the papers and embellishments. To begin, I cut the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper into 2-1/4″ x 6″ and 2-1/2″ x 6″ strips. Two patterns were layered together, then adhered at an angle onto a 4″ x 5-1/4″ card layer. The overhang of the paper was trimmed with paper snips before adhering the layered panel to the A2 card base.
For embellishment, I used a mixture of stamps and dies from the Tidings & Trimmings bundle. On the first card, I stamped the star, stocking, and bow image onto Basic White cardstock with Evening Evergreen ink. The coordinating dies cut these images out perfectly. I stamped the greeting in Versamark ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder, then heated it until melted. The greeting was cut out with the Layering Circles Dies. On the second card, I also embossed the greeting. All of the other elements were die cut from Gold Specialty Paper, Cherry Cobbler cardstock, and Evening Evergreen cardstock.
