Welcome to the Monday Montage blog hop!  Every other Monday, my friends and I share inspiring projects.  Be sure to visit all 10 stops…..you don't want to miss anything!

I haven't felt like stamping much these past few weeks.  Before we went on Spring Break, I got really sick…high fever, chills, body aches.  Once that passed, I was left with daily headaches, swollen lymph nodes in my neck, a strange pain in my side, and FATIGUE.  It didn't take long to figure out that I had Mononucleosis.  It normally takes about 4-6 weeks to recover, and I'm doing better everyday.  Hopefully, I'll get inspired to stamp more once the new catalog is released.  That makes EVERYTHING better, right?

So, May is a busy month with graduation parties.  My son graduated at mid-term and is getting ready to leave for Navy boot camp, so we have several parties planned for him.  I thought it would be a good idea to have some "Congratulations" cards on hand (for his graduating friends) and plenty of "Thank You" cards for him to send to friends and family.  It's also a good way to use up some retiring accessories.

I used this week's CAS(E) this sketch as my inspiration.   I started with a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of each color of Mint Macaroon, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, and Bermuda Bay cardstock.  Using a template I created, I cut each color into 4 pieces, then placed the pieces onto a Basic Black card base.

For the greeting, I used the Expressions Natural Elements.  I'm sad to see these on the retiring list, aren't you?  I also scattered a few of the It's My Party Enamel Dots onto each card, changing the placement slightly with each one.  I love these dots and the fun colors! I'll miss them, too.

On the inside, I used stamps from the Bravo stamp set.  This one is perfect for graduation, because it has so many different ways of saying congratulations.  If this set is on you wish list, you need to order it now.  It's also on the retiring list.
