#TGIFC298 Sketch Challenge

From All of Us

I always love sketch challenge week at TGIF Challenges and we have a great one this time! Be sure to check out all of the lovely cards that our designers created for inspiration. They are amazing! For my card, I decided to go with a stamp set from the annual catalog called From All of Us. This was the first time I inked it up and it is just adorable.

I also wanted to try out the new Basic White cardstock. To me, it seems a bit brighter and definitely has the same smooth feel as Whisper White. The real test is how well it will hold up to our Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the large image onto Basic White card stock with Black Memento ink. It took awhile and a lot of different colors, but I’m fairly certain this new cardstock passed the test.

I’ve zoomed in on the main image so that you can see much of the shading. On the large bear, I also added dots to give the illusion of fur. This was such a fun image to color and I’m sure this won’t be the last you see of the From All of Us stamp set.
