The design team at TGIF Challenges is celebrating their 2 year anniversary today. Even though I have just recently joined the team, I have been inspired by them a lot over the last 2 years. We are featuring a ton of celebration and birthday cards on the blog today, and some alumni designers have returned to celebrate with us.
For my card, I used several products from the Eastern Palace Suite, which will be available for purchase beginning Monday, May 1, 2017 in a special bundle. The base of the card is Thick Very Vanilla card stock (LOVE). I added some strips of the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper that has some gold foiling for shimmer. The large medallion is several, layered Eastern Gold Vinyl stickers.
Aren’t the little tassels adorable? It comes in an assortment package with 2 additional new colors. I tied the tassel on with some gold metallic thread, then held it in place with a cleverly hidden mini glue dot. I die cut the Very Vanilla medallion, added some stamping from the Eastern Beauty stamp set, then layered it onto a die cut circle of the Easter Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper. The greeting was stamped in Dapper Denim ink and is from the So In Love stamp set (retiring at the end of May).
