Ultimate Pink Blog Hop

pink blog hop

Welcome to the first ever Ultimate Pink Blog Hop – a collection of ideas from Stampin’ UP! demonstrators all over the globe featuring shades of pink in honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Having lost several close friends within the last month to various forms of cancer, I could not turn down the opportunity to participate in this hop.  However, I’ve had a bit of a creative block recently so I was a bit stumped with what to create.  So here is my TIP:  if all else fails, turn to the Stampin’ UP! catalog and CASE (copy & share everything).

I loved the samples on page 97 featuring the Sunshine Sayings stamp set and Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies.  I changed up the colors and a few other things to create these 3 cards that would be perfect to send to anyone that needs encouragement.

This card base measures 3-1/2″ x 5″, so it’s a nice size to tuck in with a gift.  On all of the cards, I used a combination of Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, and Flirty Flamingo.  These colors really complement one another.

In the catalog, the sample shown is a tag.  I simply changed it to a card size.  I think this sentiment would be perfect for many situations, don’t you?

I added just a bit of Daffodil Delight ink with a sponge dauber to the die-cut “sunshine” to give it some depth.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog!  If you’d like to continue the blog hop, you can click any of the links below for even more pink inspiration.  You’ll find a complete list of supplies for all my projects at the very end of this post.

Oh Melissa it’s hard enough to lose one but to lose several how hard that must be. Thank you for sharing and for joining us on the hop.
