It’s time for an inspiration challenge at TGIF Challenges. This week we are using the mini catalog as our muse. One of my favorite suites from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog is called Whimsy & Wonder. It features a non-traditional, bright color palette for the holidays and an adorable Whimsical Trees stamp set.
For my card, I began by cutting 1-1-/4″ squares of the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper. To keep some consistency with the design, I selected 4 patterns and cut 3 of each pattern. I arranged the squares on a piece of Basic White cardstock measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″ to create a patchwork pattern. Next, I stamped the tree image in Mint Macaron ink and accented with Polished Pink dots. The greeting was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink, then fussy cut. And finally, I added a touch of Be Dazzling Specialty Paper to add a bit of sparkle.
