I’ve been wanting to share a fun fold card with the Butterfly Brilliance collection, so today is the day! This card is called a Floating Butterfly Bridge Card and it is stunning. It looks like the butterfly is floating in the air and the card will also fold flat for mailing. All of the supplies for this card are listed at the bottom of this post. Floating Butterfly Bridge Card Measurements
- Basic Black Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 5-3/4″, scored at 3/4″, 1-1/2″, 4″, and 4-3/4″
- Basic Black Cardstock: (2) 3/4″ x 5-1/2″
- Natural Touch Specialty Paper: 2-5/8″ x 5-1/2″
- Window Sheet: 1/2″ x 4″
- Basic White Cardstock (for back): 2-1/2″ x 5″
One of my favorite papers from the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper is the one with all the large butterflies. You can die cut all of them at one time with the large die from the Brilliant Wings Dies. From that one cut, you’ll end up with 6 gorgeous butterflies ready to add to your handmade cards. To make the butterfly stand out even more, I added some Shimmery Crystal Effects to the wings to add shine and dimension.
