This week, I’ll be sharing crafty ideas for Valentine’s Day. I’ve been making lots of items and that has left me with a bunch of small scrap pieces of paper. I truly hate letting those scraps go to waste, so I created a scrap map to use in card design. This concept was demonstrated in my most recent Facebook Live video. Check it out below.

These cards are very easy to make! Simply start with a card base that measures 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ when folded. Then, add your scraps! You can easily mix and match patterns to create unique cards. These samples feature the gorgeous From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper.

For the focal point, I stamped the greeting in Real Red ink onto Whisper White card stock. Next, I punched out the stamped image with the smaller heart punch and a second scalloped heart from whisper white card stock. A bit of Real Red 3/8″ Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon was tied around the card and threaded through the layered hearts.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
