It’s Friday and time for another challenge from TGIF Challenges! This week it’s a color challenge and I couldn’t wait to play with this color combination of Granny Apple Green, Polished Pink, and Fresh Fresia. A bold combo like this one made me want to create something whimsical, so I decided to have fun with the Watercolor Shapes stamp set.

The Watercolor Shapes stamp set is going to be perfect for pairing with any sentiment or image stamps that you already own. It creates a soft, watercolor background with simple stamping. On today’s card, I only used the circular stamps but my mind is already spinning on ways to use all of the others.

I began by stamping my sentiment which is from the Sunny Sentiments stamp set. Next, I stamped the larger circle in all 3 colors, stamping off first to create a lighter shade. Then I filled in with the smaller circle stamp, stamping at full-strength. This is where you really start having fun with the watercolor shapes! For embellishment, I sprinkled on a few Artistry Blooms Sequins. This card makes me think of colorful bubbles and I hope it puts a smile on the recipient’s face.
