Love my Baby Bear

We are featuring our Friday Favorites on Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration today.  I selected the Love Blossoms suite as my current favorite.  I’m absolutely loving the Designer Series Paper and all the cute accessories in the embellishment kit.  I paired these items with the Bear Hugs stamp set and this week’s Mojo Monday sketch to create this cute card for my daughter.

Because this is a square card, I started with a Crumb Cake card base measuring 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″.  I like this size because it can still fit in our standard envelopes and be sent through the mail.

I created the banners by cutting strips of the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper in 1″ and 1-1/2″ widths.  The ends were punched with the Banner Triple punch.

The bears were stamped with Early Espresso ink onto Crumb Cake card stock, then die-cut with the coordinating die set.  I added embellishments from the Love Blossoms Embellishment kit to “dress” up the bears.

I’ll be putting this card in my daughter’s lunch today as a little surprise.  I hope she likes it and it brings a smile to her face.
