Details on the Stepped-Up Version of the Off-the Edge Card
In the video, I shared the basic premise behind cutting “off the edge”. My stepped-up version was cut shorter to allow room for the balloon and party hat (both images are included in the stamp set). I also added the “2 EWE” by die-cutting with the Playful Alphabet dies. These number/letters were cut 3 times and layered together to create a bold look. Both cards will fit in our medium envelopes. I just made sure that the overall size did not exceed 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.
The coloring on the stepped-up version was a bit more involved than what was shown in the video. I simply added more shading to both sheep, the grass, and their accessories. If you’d like to see another way to color the sheep, check out this post from a few weeks ago.
