Today, I’m sharing a very simple card using the Eastern Palace Suite. It’s a bit different from the other cards I’ve created so far, but I love the whimsical and bright look. The colors I used for this card are Berry Burst, Bermuda Bay, Lemon-Lime Twist, and Old Olive.
To create the flowers, I had to stamp one of the medallion images twice, offsetting it slightly the second time. The flowers were stamped on individual panels of Whisper White card stock. I added the little spray image in Old Olive ink around the flowers to give it a leafy appearance. The greeting is also from the Eastern Beauty Photopolymer stamp set and was stamped in Basic Black archival ink on the bottom panel.
Each panel was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For an additional pop of color, I added some of the new Glitter Enamel Dots to the center of each flower.
This card can literally be created in less than 10 minutes. What a perfect way to surprise a good friend!
