First, a little background…..
I have been a demonstrator for 6-1/2 years and have only missed 1 Leadership and 1 Convention during that time. I've attended almost every regional seminar within 6 hours of my home, too.
At all those events, I have only won one door prize. It was at Leadership 3 years ago. Stampin' Up! would show the stamp set they were giving away, then display names on the big screen of the people who won. If you won, you were to stand up, hoot & holler until someone brought you the stamp set. Well, they displayed the (my opinion) most unattractive stamp set from the upcoming catalog on the big screen, then up went my name. I wasn't too excited about winning an ugly stamp set, but I stood up anyway. As I did, my brand new digital camera falls onto the floor and busts open. Now I'm really not happy, but everyone is wanted me to act "excited". NO, not going to happen. Sorry to disappoint.
Now at Stampin' Up! events, we are given patterned wrist bracelets and you win when your bracelet appears on screen. This year, I won something GOOD and I was very happy!
I won a scallop edge punch, Haiku designer series paper, and the Bella Blooms stamp set. Since you won't be able to see these items until next week, here is your sneak peek at my first project:
The coordinating colors are So Saffron, More Mustard, Tangerine Tango, and Old Olive. I also used the Eastern Blooms stamp set that we received FREE at check-in.
