#TGIFC250 Color Challenge

It’s Friday and time for a color challenge at TGIF Challenges. I love this combination and the designers have created some incredible cards to inspire you. You can see the cards and play along with us HERE.

I’ve been sharing cards on my Instagram and Facebook all week that feature the Breathtaking Bouquet stamp set paired with the So Sentimental bundle. These 2 work so well together and I’ve been able to create many different looks. Today’s card is a twist on the emboss resist technique. I began by embossing the Breathtaking Bouquet image with Versamark, White Emboss powder, and my heat tool onto Whisper White cardstock.

Using masking tape, I masked off different sections of the image before sponging on the trio of colors with daubers. The sentiment was stamped with Melon Mambo ink onto Whisper White card stock, then die cut with one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I added some pearls and crinkled ribbon to complete the card.
