Happy Monday! Since it is the week of Valentine’s Day, I thought it would be appropriate to share samples with the Special Someone stamp set. I’ve paired the stamp set with the newly released coordinating Special Day dies to create a week of inspiration. Today’s card layout is courtesy of the sketch below. I knew that I wanted to make at least one card that could be used for Valentine’s Day. Since this stamp set isn’t designed specifically for the holiday, I decided to create my own accent backgound paper with the stamps. Using the stamparatus, I stamped rows of heart outlines in Black Memento ink, then filled with Real Red ink. It took awhile to do a quarter sheet of card stock, but the end result was worth it. I used the Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends to fill in the space between the hearts.
In case you missed it, last week Stampin’ UP! released 6 coordinating products that go with items from the Sale-a-Bration and January-June 2020 Mini Catalogs.
