One of my favorite color combinations is to pair a light pink with a shiny gold. The new In Colors for 2017-2019 features a super soft and light pink shade called Powder Pink. Since the Eastern Palace suite is now available for purchase, I wanted to show you some alternative color combinations and looks that can be created with these products. I’ve got a few more cards to share later this week and you should definitely check out this card.
The layout from today’s card was inspired by my friends at Freshly Made Sketches.
It took 2 different dies from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits die to create the medallion on this card. I stamped some ink splatters around the edges of the negative image in Powder Pink ink. The greeting and the splatter image are both from the Eastern Beauty Photopolymer stamp set. Another new product featured on this card is the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack. I cut 2 small strips of the Powder Pink Floral patterned paper to accent the medallion. This paper stack includes floral patterned paper in all 5 of the new In Colors.
There are several touches of gold on this card. First, I sandwiched the die cut top layer and card base with a Gold Foil Sheet so that it would show through the negative image. I added a swirl of gold metallic thread behind the greeting. And finally, I scattered a few Gold Vinyl stickers around the focal point.
The Eastern Palace Suite of products is now available for purchase in 2 exclusive bundles. Both include a FREE gift!
