Welcome to another Friday! I’m so glad this is a long weekend and I don’t have to travel anywhere. I’ve been gone every weekend this month, so it’s definitely time to slow down and relax. Of course, I’ll be taking some time to stamp and start preparing for the new catalog launch in a little more than a week. But first, a challenge to use up some Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper before it retires forever.

They say great minds think alike. When you check out the creations of our designers at TGIF Challenges, you’ll see that many of us used elements of the Bird Ballad Suite along with the Gingham Gala. I did not have the Bird Ballad stamp set, but I did have some of the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. To fussy cut the birds, I used my Brother Scan N Cut. This served as the perfect focal point for my card.

The greeting is from the May Paper Pumpkin kit. I stamped it in Versamark ink onto Basic Black card stock, then sprinkled on some White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heated it until melted. Next, the greeting was die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

A bit of shimmer was added to the image of the birds with Wink of Stella. This card also features some Pool Party & Silver Bakers Twine and a few Gingham Gala sequins. You’ll find a complete list of supplies at the end of this post. Be sure to order the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper before June 3, 2019. New items will be available with the launch of the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog on June 4, 2019.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
