This has been a big week for Stampin' Up! demonstrators. We are able to order sneak peek items from the new catalog AND receive a copy of the upcoming catalog! It's like Christmas in June!
So, I've been neglecting my faithful blog readers and spending my evenings snuggled up with my new catalog…..dreaming of future classes, wonderful projects, and a few BIG events.
I've been playing with some of my new stamps and this is the first card that I made with the Razzle Dazzle stamp set. The color combo was inspired by several cards in the catalog–Basic Black, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, and Melon Mambo.
What is Melon Mambo, you ask? Well, it is one of the new In Colors for 2009-2010 and it is a luscious shade of pink. LOVE IT!!!
Below is a close-up of the raised accent on the card. So, how do you think I was able to achieve a 2-color effect on the stamp—markers, perhaps?
The good news is that there are In Color markers in the new catalog! How fun!!!!
