Papercrafting is the Best Medicine

Baby! Oh, Baby!

Moon Baby

This week, we have a fabulous theme challenge at TGIF Challenges–babies.  Anyone can play along and it's so easy (and fun).  All you have to do is create something with a baby theme–card, scrapbook page, anything–and then upload it to our blog.   I've got all the challenge details at the end of this post.

  Moon Baby

I used the new Moon Baby stamp set from the Occasions catalog.  It's got the cutest little images and adorable sentiments.  The focal point was stamped, then colored with Watercolor Pencils and an Aqua Painter.  I fussy cut it out so that it could be popped up with dimensionals.  The clouds were punched with the tree builder punch and I used the Aqua Painter and a touch of blue from the watercolor pencils to add a little color around the edges.

The background was embossed with the Big Shot and the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I added a few thin strips of Silver Glimmer paper to the edges.
