It’s a beautiful Saturday in Indiana. The sun is shining, it’s not too cold, and I’m all alone in a hotel room writing blog posts. My daughter is attending a dance convention/competition and due to COVID restrictions, I simply have to wait in my room until she is done. The good thing is that I prepared lots of fun stamping projects to share with you and I’ve been able to create a few more Simple Saturday Sketches. Today’s card features the Butterfly Brilliance collection and the Happy Thoughts stamp set.
My hope is that you’ll use these sketches to spark your creativity and do a little stamping. This is a great sketch to feature beautiful paper collections like the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper. There is one pattern in the collection that lines up with the large butterfly die and allows you to cut out 6 butterflies at one time. These butterflies are what I used as my focal point on today’s cards.
For the greetings, I stamped in Versamark ink onto Basic Black Cardstock, then embossed with White Emboss powder. If you need a refresher on heat embossing, check out this post. I used the Happy Thoughts stamp set for both cards. This set features greetings for all-occasions and even includes wording for the inside of your cards. I’ve been using this one a lot and you’ll definitely want to add it to your collection.
I’ve provided links to all of the products used on this project below. You will definitely want to add the Butterfly Brilliance Collection to your next order.
