Christmas Card with Peace & Joy for #TGIFC276

Today’s card will definitely get your attention with it’s bright color combo. It’s Color Challenge week at TGIF Challenges and I hope you’ll play along with us. We are using the new In Color, Magenta Madness, and pairing it with Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape. My contribution features the Peace & Joy bundle to create a bright Christmas card for TGIFC276.

When I first looked through the August–December 2020 Mini Catalog, I was immediately drawn to the Peace & Joy bundle. It features bold word stamps and dies, as well as some smaller label sentiments and modern images. I knew it would be a fun set to create whimsical cards.

I began by stamping the word “bright” in Magenta Madness ink onto Whisper White card stock. Next, I die cut it with the middle word die from the coordinating Joy dies. I cut another layer from Bermuda Bay card stock with the largest word die. The smaller words were stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink onto Whisper White card stock, then cut out with paper snips. A few of the star images were randomly stamped in all the colors onto a Whisper White panel. Once everything was layered and assembled, I added just a few of the Magenta Madness enamel dots for embellishment.

Merry & Bright Christmas card
