Hi everyone and welcome to another great blog hop from the Control Freak Stampers! You may have arrived here from Cindy Elam’s blog. She is so unbelievably talented and her projects are always incredible! I’ll have your next link at the bottom of this post. Our theme this month is Share the Love. I’m sharing a couple of cards created with the lovely stamp set, A Touch of Ink.
I created these cards with just Basic White and Basic Black card stocks, then added a pop of color with the Stampin’ Blends. To research my hummingbird and butterfly colors, I turned to Pinterest. Nature photography is a great way to get inspiration and I found so many different color combinations that I can’t wait to try on future cards.
After stamping, coloring, and fussy cutting the hummingbird and butterfly images, I added them to the front of the card with a wobble spring. I rarely use non-Stampin’ UP products, but this is an exception. These little springs will give the illusion of flying off the page when the recipient opens their card. I just love to add a fun, little element like that.
Sale-a-Bration is a great time for me to “Share the Love” of stamping with you. The stamp set I used for these projects is called A Touch of Ink and it is available FREE with a $100 qualifying purchase through the end of February. You can see more projects made with this stamp set here.
You’re next stop on the Control Freaks tour is my good friend Bree Renwick. I’m sure she’ll wow you with her amazing work!
