Hi everyone and welcome to another great blog hop from the Control Freak Stampers! You may have arrived here from Bree Renwick’s blog. She is so unbelievably talented and her projects are always incredible! I’ll have your next link at the bottom of this post. Our theme this month is Celebrate and I’m sharing a few project samples from my next online class: Photo Collage Pop Up. Be sure to sign up for my newsletter to get notified when it goes live.
Photo Collage Pop Up
A few weeks ago, I was browsing YouTube and came across a tutorial for a Photo Collage Pop Up. I thought it was so neat, but the video only gave metric measurements. (If you prefer metric, you can check out the inspiration video here). So, I took it upon myself to create my own version using Stampin’ UP products. This was not an easy task and took a lot of trial and error. However, I finally got it right and these are a few of the versions I’ve created so far.
So this first one is an oversized card measuring 6″ x 6″. You could either add more stamped/die-cut elements to the empty panels or add a few photos. I know quite a few people with birthdays coming up and I thought this would be a great way to send them an amazing gift/card.
Edit: the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper shown in the sample above has sold out and is no longer available. If you’d like to see more projects with the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set, please check out this post.
For this second project, I created a 12″ x 12″ scrapbook layout. The photo collage pop up allows you to add a lot more photos to your page, and possibly keep a few hidden. When I slip the full layout inside my page protector, I cut around the edges of the pop up so that it does not have to be removed from the protector for viewing. I’ll be sharing more about that in the upcoming class. You don’t want to miss it!
You’re next stop on the Control Freaks tour is my good friend Wendy Weixler. I’m sure she’ll wow you with her amazing work!

So beautiful and clever!!! Love these!
Any chance you would be willing to share a tutorial for the photo pop up page with the imperial measurements? I would love it if you could. This page is beautiful!
