How Sweet It Is

Control Freaks Welcome

Welcome to the Control Freaks Blog Hop for December!

This month we are sharing some sneak peeks from the upcoming Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs.  You may have just visited the blog of LeeAnn Greff.  She always has such inspiring ideas!  Be sure to scroll all the way down to the end to continue on the blog tour.

All of my projects feature products from the How Sweet It Is Suite.  I love the bright, colorful papers and the whimsical candy shop images.  This first card showcases the How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper. The candy jar image was even die cut with the coordinating Jar of Sweets Framelits Dies ~ no stamping required!  I heat embossed the focal point by stamping in Versamark ink, then sprinkling with White Emboss Powder.

There wasn’t a die to cut out the gumball machine image, so I fussy cut instead.  I used the 2″ circle and Starburst punches for the greeting.  And don’t you just love this Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green reversible ribbon?  It is yummy!

And finally, I wanted to share a #simplestamping card with the Sweetest Thing stamp set.  I simply used four of the colors from the suite:  Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo, and Gorgeous Grape.  A blender pen was used to blend the Gorgeous Grape ink on the jelly beans.

You’ll notice that I added a few Glitter Enamel Dots to each of the projects.  The colors of the dots match this suite perfectly.  You won’t want to miss adding them to your order.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Your next stop on this blog tour is Cindy Elam. I’m sure she’ll be blowing us away with another amazing project this month.
