Counting Sheep And Sheep Dies

A few of my stamping friends from around the globe have joined forces to present an Instahop on the 10th of every month. It’s basically like a blog hop, but on Instagram. This month, our theme is “Critters”. For my project, I am doing a Sale-a-Bration Spotlight: Counting Sheep & Sheep Dies. Both of these products are available for FREE with a $50 qualifying purchase during Sale-a-Bration.

On a large Basic White die cut circle, I used a blending brush with Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana inks to create the blended background. The greeting was then stamped near the bottom in Black Memento ink. Next, I die cut the fence from Crumb Cake cardstock, the sun from Daffodil Delight card stock, and the clouds from Basic White cardstock.

To create my Dancing Sheep, I began by stamping her in Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock, then using the Sheep Dies to cut her out. I colored her with Petal Pink and Smoky Slate Stampin Blends Markers. The tutu was a small piece of Petal Pink Striped Organdy Ribbon. I cut off one edge, then cut between the stripes before wrapping it around the sheep and securing it behind the image with adhesive.
