Dusting Off Some Oldies, but Goodies

Lovely as a Tree meets Teeny Tiny Wishes

Over the weekend, I found myself in need of a masculine, get well card.  As I was searching through my stash, I was certain that I had a card that would fit the occasion.  I was very wrong!  I didn’t have any get well cards at all, so I needed to whip one up quickly.  This week’s sketch from Freshly Made Sketches was perfect for the simple layout.

I have really fallen in love with the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper.  The colors are perfect for those manly projects:  Early Espresso, Garden Green, Soft Sky~ LOVE!

Currently in my stamp collection, I only have 3 wood-mount stamp sets.  I’m using 2 of them on today’s card:  Lovely as a Tree and Teeny Tiny Wishes.  Actually, Lovely as a Tree was the very first stamp set I ever purchased.  Can you believe it?  It is such a timeless and versatile set.  I think everyone should own it.  The Teeny Tiny Wishes is another great set that includes every possible sentiment you could need. You could pair the two of these sets and come up with endless possibilities.

The one new accessory I added to this card is the 1/4″ Copper Trim.  I frayed the ends to give it a rustic look.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
