Back in May I shared a few cards with a fun techique on Splitcoaststampers (see them here). Soon after, I was approached about creating a Floating Strips tutorial for them to add to their extensive library of resources. The tutorial was published last week, so I’m running a bit behind posting about it on the blog.

The basic premise of the Floating Strip technique is to adhere strips of cardstock to a clear window sheet. Adding foam adhesive strips to the back of the cardstock strips make them appear to be floating off the card. I like to add a simple die cut to accent my cards and this one features a die cut from the Iconic dies. The greeting is surprisingly from the Peekaboo Farm stamp set. For embellishment, I added a few of the 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems in Bumblebee.
