It's a very snowy day in Indiana. We've gotten almost a foot of snow so far and it's about to get REALLY cold. Since I'm stuck at home, I decided to play around with one of my newer toys….the Silhouette Cameo. Even though I've had it for several months, I have been a bit intimidated to try out something completly different than my usual crafts.
I love the look of shaped cards, so this is my first attempt…..
I started by using the Crazy, Mixed-Up Love Digital Download in My Digital Studio. I colored the image, then exported the file as a jpeg.
Next, I imported the file into the Silhouette Studio software. From there, I was able to print and cut the image. I also created 2 additional offset pieces that were cut from Whisper White card stock. This is what all the pieces looked like when I was done.
I scored one of the Whisper White pieces across the top, approximately 1" down. I placed adhesive on the area above the score line and adhered the 2 pieces together. This creates the shaped card base. The printed piece was then adhered to the front with dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop!
