Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!
We’ve had a busy holiday weekend that included lots of friends, family and food. I know many people spend this weekend putting up holiday decorations, but we’ve decided not to do much this year. We’ve got a lot of activities and travel the entire month of December, so we simply won’t be around enough to enjoy a fully decorated house. However, I do enjoy creating a few decor items with my stamping supplies.
I started by spray painting some wooden letters that I purchased at the craft store a few months ago. Once they were dry, I traced the shapes/letters onto the Merry Little Christmas Designer series paper. After carefully cutting out each shape, I adhered them to the wood pieces with Mod Podge. It takes a little time to dry, but once it was dry, I carefully sanded the edges for a smooth finish.
The focal point is very similar to this card I shared recently, except I used the Watercolor Wishes stamp set for the greeting.
Event though this piece is small, I think it will bring a lot of Holiday cheer into my stamping space and home.
