Monday Montage 113 ~ Stepped Up Barn Door Card
Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop! I had to miss the hop 2 weeks ago and then LIFE has just gotten away from me. Here is just a little snippet…
We are at the midpoint of my daughter’s 2-week long Spring Break. Due to other obligations, we have to take our vacation later in the year. The only thing my daughter wanted to do is visit the zoo to see the flamingos, so we bundled up this morning before the snow started falling again. It was brisk, but I’ve got some new pics to scrapbook!
The kitchen makeover is still in progress. My husband and I are still speaking, but we are both ready for this project to be completed. I’ve been sharing updates on Instagram if you’d like to see more (so many doors to paint!).
And finally, I’m working on samples for the displays at ON Stage in Milwaukee next weekend. I can’t give you a peek just yet, but you are going to love the new products that will be coming in the new catalog. If you are in Milwaukee, be sure to find me and say “hello”.
This is the stepped up Barn Door card that I planned to share 2 weeks ago. I love this bundle and it pairs well with the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper. I’m finding that the more I work with this set, the easier it becomes. Take a look at the video below. I explain a bit more about how I put this card together at the end.
Thanks so much for stopping by! You’ll find a complete list of supplies at the end of this post.

I am also working on samples for an OnStage display, this is my first time doing a board and the closer it gets, the more anxious I am feeling! I will be traveling with a carload of sideline demos from all over Chicagoland, with a packed schedule, but I’ll be keeping an eye out for you; hope we meet in Milwaukee!
