Monday Montage 117 ~ Detailed With Love Layout

Monday Montage Banner

Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  Today, I’m sharing a layout that I created for the Milwaukee On Stage.  I don’t do much traditional scrapbooking anymore, but this was a very quick and easy page featuring the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series paper.

Crumb Cake 12″ x 12″ cardstock serves as the base for my layout.  Next, I added 6 rectangles of pattern paper that measure 3″ x 4″.  The greeting was stamped in Tranquil Tide ink onto Very Vanilla card stock, then die cut with the Layering Ovals die.  It was layered onto a Very Vanilla die cut from the Stitched Shapes Framelits set.  I also stamped a few decorative, scallop borders in Crumb Cake ink along the edge of the paper.

To embellish the page, I created some Baker’s Twine flowers by winding the twine onto cardstock circles covered in SNAIL adhesive.  A few adhesive-backed sequins in Petal Pink complete the page.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I’m not at all interested in scrapbooking. Or at least I wasn’t. I had someone tell me ” You (meaning me), should never, ever design a scrapbook page again”. The way she said it and at the time she said it, made me feel awful. So, I’ve not tried since. But, looking a pages like these, I think I could do these. It is a beautiful page. Thank you for sharing!
