Papercrafting is the Best Medicine

Monday Montage 121 ~ Christmas in July

Monday Montage BannerHello and welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop!  My crafty friends and I have created some wonderful projects for you to peruse at your leisure.  You’ll find all of the links for the hop at the end of this post.Snowflake Sentiments Starburst CardI couldn’t end the month of July without sharing at least one Christmas card.  Here is the final card from my Starburst Background tutorial video that features the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper. The video explains step-by-step how I created the background effect.  Today’s card is a bit of a variation:  the paper strips were cut at various widths from 1″ to 3″.  This is just another fun way to use up those bits of scrap paper you probably having lying around.Christmas Starburst CardFor the focal point, I used the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and stamped the greeting in Shaded Spruce and Real Red inks.  The greeting was die cut with the Big Shot an Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, then layered onto a Real Red layer that was cut with a Stitched Shapes Framelits die.Christmas Starburst Card Close UpThe Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper is part of the paper sale.  You’ll definitely want to add it to your next order.  It is absolutely the perfect paper for all you holiday projects. Thanks so much for stopping by! You’ll find a complete list of supplies at the end of this post.
