Hello and welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! My friends and I have some great projects to share with you today. Be sure to read through to the end to find your next stop.
I’m working on projects for an upcoming masculine card class. The Geared Up Garage cling mount bundle will be a perfect fit; however, I wanted to use more muted colors to create a steampunk-ish look. I started with a card base of Crumb Cake, then layered on Early Espresso card stock and a piece of the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper.
The gears were cut from a piece of the Galvanized Metallic paper from the previous Holiday Catalog. I used a sponge dauber to add some Early Espresso ink to the gears, giving them a more rustic appearance. There is a splatter stamp in the Geared Up Garage stamp set that was used to create the background paper. To embellish the card, I adhered a few of the Classic Garage Metal Elements with some glue dots.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
