Hello and welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! My friends and I have some great projects to share with you today. Be sure to read through to the end to find your next stop.
Today I held a class for my advanced stampers. For a couple of the projects (including this card), we used the new Pigment Sprinkles from Stampin’ UP! These are so much fun to play with and it was really cool to see the different looks that everyone achieved on their projects.
We started by heat embossing the heart image and greeting with the new Shimmer Black Embossing powder. This just adds a bit of sparkle to the card. Then we used the Pigment Sprinkles to watercolor the image. In the close-up, you’ll see that my coloring isn’t perfect but it’s a great overall effect. I also used some of the Pigment Sprinkles to create a splatter effect over the image.
If you are a visual learner, I’ve included a recent video showing this technique and a few others. I’ve also been asked to include the card measurements for easier CASing, so here you go!
