Papercrafting is the Best Medicine

Monday Montage 152

Hi everyone and welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! We’ve got some great projects to share with you, so make sure you continue by clicking the NEXT button at the bottom of this post to continue the hop.

I just returned from the Stampin’ UP! OnStage event in Lansing, Michigan. My head is absolutely spinning with new ideas and I can’t wait to share with you. Today I’m featuring a card that I created for an organized swap at the event. It uses the Back on Your Feet stamp set and a fun interactive element.

The card stock layers and stamping are rather straightforward. I colored the turtle image with a variety of Stampin’ Blends and added a swoosh of color behind him with the Artisan Textures stamp set and Coastal Cabana ink. A few glitter enamel dots were scattered for embellishment.

Behind the turtle is a wobble spring (get it here). When you give it a little flick, it wobbles back and forth just as you would suspect a turtle on its back would behave. If you’d like to see a video of this in action, be sure to check out my Instagram or Facebook page.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
